Birthday Stuff for DD

Okay so I am a week late, DD's birthday was the 21st but I finally finished what I started at the Stampede and since I know she doesn't do the blog thing, I can post it here and she won't see it until it gets to her next week :-). This is from the Cindy Royal class of course, I don't follow directions well and did my own thing but had alot of fun with it. The pictures aren't that great, but then for whatever reason my cameras and I don't get along well, working on fixing that.

For this project I used the following Cartridges:

Cricut Classic Font (numbers)
Jasmine (name)
Mother's Day Bouquet
Stand and Salute

The banner itself is a rectangle and heart(Plantin Schoolbook) welded together using the gypsy.

I also used the Star cuttlebug embossing folder
Dew Drop Inks (Galaxy Gold, Pearlescent Ivy, Pearlescent Lavender, Pearlescent Purple, Thatched Yellow)
Color Box Chalk Ink (Blue Iris)

I have no idea what brand the paper is, I got it at Scrapbook Junkie loved the colors, and it cuts so good but the store closed..... Anyway, that's it for now, will probably post Cricut's latest adventures tomorrow as we did go shopping for clothes today and we made a trip to Hobby Lobby too....

  1. This box is crazy cool. I have seen these and never tried to make one. Awesome.

  2. Wow, what great projects!!!! Haven't tried this either and this certainly makes me want to!!!!
Just wanted to come by and say that I read your comment and am so pleased that you made Whimsical Wednesday your first blog hop! They are some work but they are certainly fun and a great way to see lots of projects...
so thanks again for joining in!

  3. Very nice, I haven't tried one yet! Yours looks great! Nice banner too!

  4. Awesome projects!! I haven't done an explosion box, but yours makes me want to try! Love your banner too. How fortunate that you got to take a class from Cindy!

  5. Nice work. I love the birthday box. I haven't tried one of those yet.

  6. Thank you for all your kind comments, I really do love crafting, but am generally afraid to show my work as I don't think it is anywhere near as good as most of what I see :-)

  7. I love your box! The candle is such a great touch. I applaud your being able to work with such small pieces. :)

  8. I love the birthday box! I need to figure this one out. Could be a great scraplift if you ask me!

  9. Love the cake in the box. Thanks for sharing.

  10. I was at the table behind you at the stampede and saw your banner. The box came out great too!
